HAH !! With the frequency of BlueJackets players going on IR, they'll be dipping into the ECHL for players pretty soon !!

Last night's game was a disaster. The defense was worse than normal, and Korpi looked lost. The offense appears disjointed - not moving up ice as a unit. Usually only a 1 or 2 man rush - seldom getting any help.

Took the words right out of my keyboard 03.

The team can't defend, can't get out of their own zone, has only 3 or 4 people that can score, and can't sustain anything on the power play.

If there was relegation in the NHL they would a be lead pipe cinch for the AHL.

LOL !! Relegation . . . that's a good one !! Listening to NHL channel on Sirius this morning and the talking heads were saying Columbus is a mess . . . You don't build a team on the wings, you build down the center.

Even with Gaudreau and Laine, there is no one (veteran) who can/will put the team on their back and say "Let's go boys, play some hockey". Although at this point I'd rather they don't or their chance at a top-3 pick goes down the toilet. Right now, just try to keep Gaudreau, Laine, Marchenko, Sillinger, Johnson healthy. Maybe that's the hidden goal of playing the 4th line so much - save the 1st line !!
