Karine Hains: Edmundson on his Way Out? As the trade deadline approaches, it’s going to be rumors galore in the NHL and one name is making the rounds right now: Joel Edmundson.

trading him only next year wouldn't be the end of the world.
but yeah, the sooner the better.

The Canadiens had promised a status update on Sean Monahan last week and haven’t given it and Edmundson is still listed as day-to-day.

If all these canadien players were worth firsts they wouldn’t be the awful team they are.

It is this kind of foundation and structure the Habs have been missing for 30+ years.

HuGo doing poop the right way, not just tanking and hoping for a draft miracle.

Habs recall Belzile and Ylonen so the injured players are not expected to be ready

it's one thing to have lots of good prospects but the key is development as Tampa as shown.

of course not, being injured is part of this team's identity, it's what defines them.

Helping the rebuild Pat

Drouin and Armia are close to a return, probably need a few days of practice to get back in game shape. Still no news on Monahan

not when you can't make trades and acquire picks, that isn't very helpful for a rebuild.

they have 3 picks in the top 38 picks in a solid draft including a top 8 pick, not all negative

I know it isn't all bad, just saying there's nothing really positive about injuries when it comes to the TDL lol.

Drouin
Armia
Hoffman
Dadonov
Monahan
Edmundson

Off that group...only Armia, Hoffman and Eddy are under contract for next season so there is hope for next season, we knew it would a few years for HuGo to shed some of the dead wood, during that time the young guys drafted the past few years will start coming up.

Turning pro this summer, Roy, Kidney, Mailloux and most likely Farrell and Mesar. Let's see if they sign Davidson and Struble also ready to make the jump to pro.

what sucks about that is that Monahan and Edmundson were the most "valuable" ones on the market, and they're physically in shambles.

apparently the oilers talked to Georges Laraque to get his opinion on Edmundson, and he basically told them he was damaged goods. would be funny if they still traded for him lol

IF thye cannot trade Hoffman, at the deadline or the off season, I expect a buy out.
