What's the deal with Hronek. His plus minus was horrible till this season. Puts up good points. I assume a second pair puck mover that needs a defensive partner? Would he get caved in on the top pair?

He got caved in during his last 2 games in Ottawa and Wattson hurt him. Maybe Stevie wants tougher and bigger.

Talented but frustrating 2nd pair RD. Finally thrived when playing with Maatta. Previously had to play with the corpses of Dekeyser and Staal

Instead of taking the picks for Hronek he should have added and gotten Pettersson.

I would have kept Hronek and traded Chiarot. Chiarot is the one that makes every partner he plays with suck. I just hope he doesn't turn around and trade for Weegar, Parayko, Dumba or Karlsson. Maybe a RD that isn't said to be on the market like John Carlson from the Caps. He's getting up there in age (33) but he sure as hell can still produce and would be an upgrade over Hronek.
