Just let Tanner center L4. There is no point in sitting him to play guys like Bellows or Braun. If he struggles, he struggles. |

A few more regulation losses and 7th will be wrapped up. Is JVR cooked or disinterested? At best, does he get anything more then a vet minimum contract next season? |

I haven't really paid attention to NHL scheduling or discussion around it. But does anyone else find it odd that the Flyers will play the Blues for the second and final time and they just played the Pens for the third and final time. Why are we only playing division rivals 3 times per year? I feel like this change occurred a few seasons ago so forgive my lateness but come on!!! There has to be a better way. |

Dumb scheduling, took away all of the rivalries. Now you get to see every team in your building. Completely asinine, I don’t need to see the Sharks in Philly. |

Most teams in your Division are 4-game season series. But there are a couple, on a rotating basis, you only play 3 times so teams get 1 home/ 1 road vs other conference and 3 games vs the other division within same conference. I agree that it doesn't make a lot of sense. |

Frost and Farabee have more combined points than BSchenn this season, so I guess the trade has worked out for the Flyers. And the Blues. Not so much for Hextall. |

It's not the Western teams that throw off the schedule as much as it is they are playing the Atlantic Division too much.
CBJ - 4x
CAR - 4x
But...
NYR - 3x
PIT - 3x
Makes no sense. It should be super simple:
16 Western teams - 2x (32 games)
8 Atlantic Division - 2x (16 games)
7 Metro Division - 4x (28 games)
6 games left over - you could give three each to Atlantic / Metro based on previous years standings. You could add extra rivalry games to Metro. You could add extra games to Atlantic. You can use some of those games to play the dumb overseas games or outdoor games. |

There is talk of going to 84 games:
7 x 4 in division = 28
8 x 3 in the other division = 24
16 x 2 against the other conference = 32

FWIW both Carolina and Columbus are currently in the Metropolitan Division also.

Ersson in goal tonight, think the writing is on the wall for Sandstrom long-term within the organization.
I thought the playoff push for LV was important to the development of the youngsters. Not quite understanding the need to start Ersson in meaningless games with Sandstrom healthy. |

Hakstol is the big winner in the last laugh contest. Threw the pitch out at Mariner’s game while AV and CF are playing golf and Dave Scott has retired. |

I will never understand hextall signing jvr, and trading schenn and hartnell. Its like he had no plan.

They should send down Sandstrom - he's not a NHL caliber goalie

Not sure why Ersson needs to be here. Bring up the other guy on LHV and leave Ersson there to lead the way in the POs. Also, any guys on the Flyers that are eligible to go back down without waivers should be moved down. Load them up and let them win a round or 2 or more in the AHL. Flyers could lose all games left and it probably won't change much regarding the draft lottery. |

He had a plan. He just blew some high draft pics on NoPa, JOB, and others which compounds the look of having no plan. |
