100%

Maybe Michkov could be that star player every team wants, but the risks of drafting an 18-year-old who might develop into something great + the whole Russian thing just make the odds seem a lot less likely for success.

I think that if the Habs were 2-3 years further down their re-build, it would be worth the risk but not this early in the process.

Some team is gonna grab him and maybe get real lucky.

I think it really depends what pick the Habs have.

They probably should or at least consider passing on him for picks 4-6.

But if they draft 7th, and he's still on the board. I'm not passing on him.

Look at the Wild and Kaprizov, I don't care if it takes 3 years before he comes over if we can get a player like that.

If he was able to play in any international tournament and the world wasn't what it was, he would be 1B at worst to Bedard and probably only because he is a winger.

He's only been obliterating the MHL since he was 15 so he's gotta be bad

He's awesome. I'm completely on board with the Habs drafting him if that's their call.

But I'd also understand getting... let's say a Will Smith at #5 as a "safer" bet.

I'd be pissed.

You have a talent like that on the board. You HAVE to try and get it or you're doing yourself a disservice.

I hope for a Tarasenko fall...and that was only a 4-7 pick to 16th.

More than 400,000 are without power this afternoon, according to the Hydro-Québec's online outage tracker.

Those customers are spread across several regions including Montreal, Montérégie and Quebec City. Earlier this month, an ice storm knocked out power for more than one million customers.

Flooding? Any idea? That sucks. Was it Putin and can Montreal use this to draft him in the third round?

A spokesperson for Hydro-Québec told Radio-Canada that the company experienced a "loss of production," which led to automatic shutdowns on the network.

"The network's protection mechanisms reacted correctly, which led to the outages," said spokesperson Cendrix Bouchard.
