Sean Maloughney: Round 3 Game 3: The Real Edmonton Oilers

Series tied 1-1. You could be right about 29 and the Conn Smythe, but I think I’d wait before anointing him just yet.
Bouchard has really stepped up as well, he showed flashes of that last year in the playoffs but seemed to get lost in the lineup til Barrie was traded.
I’d expect a feisty game again, been a great series to watch.

I predicted the game one loss and the game two blow out, if my prediction of Oilers in 5 comes true you all might have to accept that my hockey knowledge is greater than yours . My prediction for tonight? I feel like this is going to be the toughest one to predict, Oilers typically don't play great after they blow a team out and I am sure Vegas want's to strike back. On the other side, the top players of the Oilers get rested in game 2, McDavid only played 18 minutes, not to mention the absolute man-handling the Knights received. They are probably beat up and disheartened. I think it ends up being a closer game, either we hold a tight lead during the game or Vegas does but we complete the comeback. If we do win today, this Vegas team will be done and I suspect game 4 will be another blow out for the Oilers.

Bouchard has been excellent, amazing what happens when he is paired with a legitimate top 4 player and the PDO reverts to normal.

After the Oilers last game it really shows how important Kane is to this team and not just his goal scoring.

lol love it. Been trying to tell you for two rounds now the Oilers 5/5 play needs to improve on all the various levels. You aren't playing LA you are playing Vegas and need to adapt to their systems. Now yet again, the Oilers being their own worst enemy are in yet another must win game. Not doing themselves any favours to be sure. Maybe Campbell next game. Fucked around and found out I guess lol
