Agree on Bahl with 2-3 years, but I'm not sure he gets 1.5M. I think 1.2ish is fair. He took some nice steps this year and still has room to grow for sure. His improved play is one of the reasons why I think Fitz is comfortable letting Graves walk, as Bahl should be able to fill his presumed role on that 3rd pair/PK full time, especially if he takes another step.

I feel a bit for Seveson moving on after so little winning here. Feel like he finally had an enjoyable season and it's off to OHIO! On the other hand, it's fifty million bananas, so glad we didn't keep him. I wish him luck.

While a third round pick may or may not turn into anything, it's a respectable move by Fitzy to pull off the rare sign and trade. We had Damon here for the Playoffs and still got a return for him. So job well done by our GM. I doubt that happens with Gravy or Wood who are also likely to be moving on.

I very much like Kevin Bahl, but I'm expecting some growing pains in the upcoming season. Still, I'd like to see him as a regular in the lineup so he can adjust to playing a full NHL schedule. I greatly enjoyed Bahl's tough play against the Rangers in the playoffs. I think he was a little inconsistent with the physical style of play, but it was great experience and I thought he showed a lot.
