Hopefully Lav can get in the kids’ ears and get more out of them. For the negative in GG, he managed to find a way to unlock Kreider. Now lets hope Lav (and Peca) can unlock the kids. |

I wish I could agree that they've been "locked" though
I have watched ever single second of every game Kakko and Lafreniere have played in the NHL, and unfortunately neither one of them is a natural goal scorer, at all.
They are both going to have to work very hard for their goals their whole career
hopefully both of them put about triple the effort training this summer than they seem to have done the last few summers |

What would the team look like if we swapped the years we picked first overall and second overall. 🤦🏻♂️ I like to torment myself |

Although a right shot defenseman is much needed, in Vancouver, a bigger priority is defensemen who can actually play defense, which this guy is terrible at.
Hard pass on this player. |

You just can’t make it up. Pick 2nd and 1st overall in back to back years and just get good but not great players. Only this franchise |

I think it would be good to say who you would have selected in this spot instead

Franchise didn’t deserve those picks. It’s the hockey gods doing their thing. |

I don’t think they are finished products yet. What 1-2 OA picks don’t sniff top PP minutes 3-4 years into their career? It’s a big part of production/confidence for a young skill player. They’ve been stuck in 3rd line minutes and little to no PP time with first unit their whole career. I’ve preached patience with them but I get it, it’s harder and harder to believe it but I’m still there. Just don’t think either should be traded because Rangers Law suggests they’ll blow up on another team
I think it’s time they both get top PP time. Bump down Pararin and Trocheck. Fox Zib Kreider Laf Kakko top PP unit. Maybe it’ll make Panarin want to get traded
How about Wyndham Clark talk about bursting on the scene. Two titles w/ 1 being a US Open, in less than 2 months. Impressive to say the least. He’s got a cool feel good story too |

I went to Chicago one time and I did have the pizza, and I thought it was good
but very very filling, you gotta lay down after eating that

I've honestly never had it, just needed to find something to break the city's balls about
I'm sure it's good, but it doesn't look like something I'd want to try more than once. |

The best pizza I ever had was in Philly. I forget the name of the place but the slices are enormous. |

Like Jimbo has said though, they have both had opportunities and just can’t finish. I don’t know how you get better at that. Either you can score or you can’t haha. Hoping maybe they get some more luck - TPC
I think confidence has a lot to do with it too. Kakko gets that aww shucks look to him. So maybe more opportunity brings more production and confidence |

In my unprofessional opinion Laf seems like he needs to work on his foot speed and kakko just needs to shoot as much as possible. |

Once Kakko matures into a man he’ll be really good. Picking corners and all. He’s not flashy but he is strong. I’ve said it before that Nichuskin is a good comparison to Kakko. And it took him awhile. He had a zero goal season. |
