Do you know how many D men CBJ has on their roster already? More likely is Konecny to play #1 C...basis of a deal could be #3 + Peeke/Boquist for Konecny + #7? |

"As many have already reported, the hold up in the STL/PHI is a player not waiving his NTC.
Initial trade included a defenseman from either team moving, but it sounds like a part of the deal may have fallen apart."
Dave Pagnotta for what that is worth |

Torrey Krug not waiving hit NTC. Looks like Briere needs to find another dance partner to make it work. |

It doesn’t mean the deal has fallen through. The teams have agreed in principle….now it’s a matter of ironing out all the particulars. |

So anyone want to take a guess at what would constitute a "blockbuster" between these two?

Funny how its reported D'Angelo is heading back to Carolina and Canes Flyers working in the deal with Philly supposedly retaining 50%. Trust Lebrun and C.J more there. |

Why would these teams agree on a trade, and THEN ask a player to waive his NTC? Why are you attempting to trade players w NTC's? Seems very disrespectful to the player. Now for better or worse Krug looms somewhat like a "bad guy" for merely following his contract. Bad! |

Just by going of what i've been seeing on twitter....the deal would be
.
Hayes and Sanheim for Krug and a 1st. Don't know about any financials
Just from what I'm seeing.
Don't know if Krug not waiving changes anything for Deangelo to Carolina |

Krug was a bad signing from day one and to give him a ntc was equally a poor decision. Why do the Blues want Hayes anyway. He is older slower and a defensive liability. Not a good combination for a team that wanted to get younger players with term. This could go down as a the worst trade made by Army. |

it's dead you should probably rename this |

...and they didn't just give Krug a NTC. Aren't most of their big defensemen sitting on no moves or no trades? |

Yeah Armstrong screwed the pooch not making Petro a life long Blue. Then signing a5’8 defender to replace him. Has to go sown as one of the worst decisions a Blues GM has made since giving away Joey Mullen and a few years later giving away Doug Gilmour. Torey Krug is not the bad guy. A GM that hands out NMC like candy gets what they deserve. |

Flyers are willing to trade picks 7, 22 + whatever else to move up to 4th or 5th to draft Michkov. That is an enticing deal depending on what the other pieces would be. Then Habs move back and take Leonard recoup another 1st plus the other pieces.
