Don’t over think it. Fantilli is the guy. This guy is legit. Bedard is awesome but add fantilli with the likes of Zegras mctavish terry.

Don’t be surprised if fantilli is closer to bedard.

Hype is large and real on bedard and fantilli is being forgotten.

I can't imagine Verbeek NOT taking Fantilli. He's exactly what he looks for in a player and is exactly what he says the Ducks are missing. However, this depends on how badly Columbus wants Fantilli. Like maybe throw in Kent Johnson and the third for the second pick? Yeah, I know it's not going to happen, but damn, the Ducks would be set at center for a long time! I've learned over the years not to be surprised by choices the Ducks make at the draft (like Brayden Tracey over Kaliyev at the end of the 1st round in 2019 or Jacob Perreault late first round in 2020), but I'd be surprised if it's anyone but Fantilli at #2. Michkov might be more offensively talented, Carlsson might have a higher ceiling some day, but Fantilli's mix of talent, size, speed, and belligerence is tailor-made for what PV wants to build.

Ryan Getzlaf, as the new player development coordinator, gets to work with his own mini-me as his first assignment.
