giving up 3 picks for a 50+ point dman is not a fleecing.
That being said the flyers had no business making that move where they were at. That is why is was a terrible move. - hello it's me 2050
Three picks for one year of a dman who scored 42 points while having the worst ES goal results on the defense and predictably clashing with his head coach so hard that they had to buy him out.

A total fleecing. - Feanor
A terrible move for the flyers as I said. on the surface 3 picks was fine for a dman with 50 points. You disagree.

Massimo Rizzo has a great name and some talent but is also 22 years old already and isn't really all that close. If all goes well he might be a depth guy in a couple seasons, but I'd be surprised if he ever reaches the NHL.

Moves are being made by the Flyers and across the NHL, yet Frost still remains unsigned. I still feel there is a good chance the Flyers and Frost will come to an agreement, but if not (Torts impact here), could the Flyers trade Frost for a good defensive prospect? The Flyers are still thin at center, but clearly their defense is what needs the most attention.

Do you think that if you post this enough times, your wish will come true?
If you think this is a Tortorella issue, that would be a misread on your part.

yet you see fit to mention it every damn day. It is a non issue until it is an issue

Frost will be signed and in camp. As sometimes happens, it may not get done until the two sides start to feel urgency and new numbers get exchanged. But it will happen. A non-issue in August.

I am not wishing Frost gets traded, however if the Flyers can get a good young defensive prospect back in a trade for Frost, I would be all for it. I am not saying this is a Torts issue, but I think we can agree Torts is not a fan of Frost. If this was Cates not being signed yet, I am sure Torts would positively influence the negotiation. In this case, I don't think Torts is pushing the Flyers to go above and beyond for Frost. Does that matter? Probably not, especially if Briere is in Frost's corner.
