And I think Woll could be it.

It would be prudent for the Leafs to strengthen the defence to help Woll’s confidence. Instead of keeping Willy (and others) who’ll inevitably make defensive blunders at a rate higher than most players. Just make the trade for Hanafin or Dobson and LETS (frank)IN’ GO!!!! GO LEAFS GO BABYYYYY!!!

I think Tree will keep him this season and possibly let him walk at the end of the season.

Unless they snag a top 4dman for him - team is far better with him.

He makes very sound/responsible plays with the puck and is decent at takeaways at even strength. I think he’s something like top 10 in takeaways at 5v5 and probably in the hundreds in giveaways. Not physical but brings very smart plays with puck and isn’t a liability in that defensive regard at all

Ya man who knows right. I did like how nothing leaked from leafs or 34 side. Good relationship.

I just think like a lot most Leafs fans do (I feel) that Willy in lineup is far better than just moving him for scrap (pageau type) or picks

So Brodie & Robertson sure but why the hell would Leafs need to add Lily? Just 2 for 2 saves Leafs around 3M I think (not sure)

…I would also be careful trading Brodie even though 5M in cap hit - he can play good solid minutes with Rielly and that counts for a lot with coaches.

I like how Tre goes about his business.

He seems to have more of a manager’s presence than KD did. There’s a boss now, not everyone’s buddy going to Justin Beiber concerts with the players.

Ya man I agree with you. Dubas was definitely a smart guy and well spoken for sure but he did just feel young. Not just cause in fact he was younger but he just seemed ti come across as green and inexperienced in the hockey world - different beast than the real world

Vatrano would be a real solid mid6/3rd line option for the Leafs. Buzz saw that’s not overly physical but plays with some jam and has a decent scoring potential (20 top out) on that team to me (with the skill)

It sometimes seems that way..

But all they can do is swing the bat and throw the ball. Bichette is a lousy infielder. Whoever is making the decision to bunt should be fired. Rivera as a third base coach is useless. They’re all too streaky.
