Problem is both teams are up against the cap so it has to be equal dollars in and out. And I don't see anyone in Toronto the Flames would have much interest in.

I think the interview a week or so ago when he said "they don't" "They wont" kind of told me he was over his time with the Flames. Just figured he would ride the season out and move on. Not ask to move on in advance.

IMO you do not make a trade demand while on the road, during hall of fame weekend, when you have to play the next day, unless you have unreconcilable issues with other players or management.

Why demand a trade now? It’s burning Bridges and brings heat on the dressing room and management at a time when they are supposed to be celebrating. You don’t do this unless there is issues.

I thought Zads wanted to stay a couple weeks ago? Something must have happened. Maybe Huberdeau being benched against Nashville was tipping point? If he wants a trade ...then trade him to benefit the club not "oh I want to go to Toronto where my old boss is" and get a crappy deal.
On another point Huberdeau NEEDS to stay off the Powerplay until he finds his groove again. OMG he was awful.

If Conroy can get a high end D prospect, I’d sell everyone. Our 2 best forwards were Zary and
Pospisil last night. Coronato with the hatty last night, he’s going to need a spot and we don’t want it to be at the expense of one of the youngsters.
