My vote would be Gallant, with maybe Oates as an assistant.

Bottom line is something needs to change before the season is completely lost. Since you can not trade the entire team. A coaching change only seems logical.

Having Gallant gives management time until the end of the season to decide long term. Who know what will be available then.

I know it's early, but playoffs are unlikely. They are digging themselves a hole. To get in as the wild card they will need at least another 80 points over the 66 remaining games.

It could happen, but nothing I've seen makes me believe it will.

Right now just fix the damn PK. How many goals have they given up on PK? How many points has that cost them?

It’s going to take a stars in line kind of situation again, like last year, for this team to make the playoffs. Teams to start imploding in front of them etc.

I miss the old days when the Center Ice Package carried all of the games. Having ten different national entities grabbing pieces of the season just sucks
