Being tight-lipped on Perry will only serve to fuel the conspiracy mill. People are entitled to their privacy but the internet is a particularly unforgiving court of public opinion and speculation.

I'm not a Hawks fan, don't have strong feelings about Bedard other than being a little tired of all the hype and generally hate Internet virtue signaling but the things being said about Bedard's mom are pretty far over the line. It doesn't appear that she deserves any of it and even though most of us know it's a joke her name is in the middle of it and it's really not right. If she was some sort of nasty person maybe some of it would be understandable but she seems to be an innocent bystander caught up in most hockey fans dislike of Perry and fatigue from the Bedard hype.

The hawks don't owe anybody the specifics for his termination...Blackhawks management were informed about inappropriate behavior. They removed the offender from the team immediately, investigated, found the accusation to be true, and terminated the contract. They did the right thing. Gee it took whole five days over a holiday but thats just unacceptable to internet mob here.

Who is accusing the organization of failing to properly investigate? Everyone wants this to be true because the humiliation would last for years. Probably be the primary mark to get Perry into the HOF. "He didn't just score on the ice..."
