I have a feeling that Bedsy post Perry internet nastiness and his frustrations the last couple of games will expose into his best pro game ever, in from of the traveled Regina Pat fans and his teammates.

It is as if this kid's quiet time/ relaxation comes from being on the ice even on his free time.

Well i think Kaiser was fine except for getting undressed at the blue line. It takes 5 guys on defense and Phillips was up ice a ton in that Wings game, with forwards no where to be seen.

It's the battle in your own zone forever, get possession in their own end, for example Kaiser had the puck on his stick one play skating it out getting hounded has to make a back handed pass to the left boards in the neutral zone and the forward is flat footed can't adjust to the pass while he's standing there, turnover come back the other way no forwards get back, ends up in the back of the net.

Or when KK activated and Johnson has a brain fart and decides as he's skating to the point to cut towards the net instead while Bedard was driving the middle lane.

This isn't a Kaiser problem, KK problem, it has a lot more to do with a very slow forward group that can't or doesn't skate back or make themselves open to passes.

And honestly we have 3 bottom lines.

T Johnson should not be in PP1 vs Reichel, LR needs to keep giving the kid an opportunity on the power play. Not sure if anybody else has noticed, but I’ve never seen R Johnson win a board battle, isn’t that what a 4th liner is supposed to do? Yet he plays over Katchouk on many nights. Go Hawks!

It's just, for a young defenseman, can you do it every night? And not get your confidence shattered a little bit. It's hard to get it back in this league. Just going to down to work on that and handling the puck a little bit more and maybe more offensive-zone situations and just making simple plays, not making it too difficult. His skating ability gets him out of a lot of trouble, but it also can get him into trouble."

Tinordi-Zaitsev will be the third D pairing today. Crevier just played last night for Rockford so he’ll wait to make his NHL debut.

I think it's just all about development and also giving some of the other dmen a chance to play some NHL games. It's a long season and probably both will be back at some point.

Phillips and Kaiser sent to Rockford; Crevier recalled with Tinordi returning from injury

Below is my summation of Crevier at Rockford this season

Crevier had to be paired with either Roos or some ECHL promoted dmen. So my quick take is that Crevier has been the solid defensive dman in his pair. Crevier can carry the puck as he skates well for a big guy and he unloads shots that can produce goals (as in slapshots). He is more a defensive dman who is capable but not really a mail carrier or generator. Crevier hopes to be a shut down type but I am aware that he should be more physical.

As I have mentioned in the past, at 6-8” he has the reach to use effectively. Just the fact he has played well and in his second pro year, means he has progressed from junior level to at least a fair NHL prospect.

I didn’t say either of those things, comprehension doesn’t seem to be your strong suit. You said London wasn’t outside of Toronto so I asked if you thought it was part of the GTA. And I didn’t say Perry was any kind of “lad”, I said I was impressed that he didn’t appeal getting let go and that he owned up to his stupidity.

Anyway a few other Ontario residents on this site are waiting for the annual Maple Leaf implosion as your team is closing in on 60 years of futility. But I’m sure you’ll have the usual excuses ready.

Kaiser seemed to be struggling lately. That recent minus 3, for one.

Soderblom amazes me. He handles the puck quite well on his stick, but his decisions are just mind boggling. He’s got two relatively simple/clean exit options and decides to launch a grenade at Murphy’s head off the glass.

Dean needs to spend some time with KK on how to go into a corner during a dump in.

He basically just forfeits possession.
