Glad the .500 hockey streak of the last few weeks is broken.

I missed the game but was at a party with a friend of mine who cheers for the Canes, so I was happy to be able to give him shit as soon as I saw the result

Ya the new name was part of the agreement. Had to be a plausible, realistic sounding name. Couldn't write under this. So, here we are.

Some of the defensive lapses are fading away and they seem to be back to trusting the structure.
I will say they are still in a bit more defensive style way more fun to watch than the last few years. I like Lafferty in the spot on Petey’s line as he is a disruptive force and his speed is evident always on the ice. With Petey going into playmaker position and having the puck more often I think that line becomes an issue for other teams. Miller is back to play this game more in the last 3-4 games and he’s seemingly enjoying Hoglander on the line he forechecks like Di Giuseppe but also has higher top end skill. He’s a lot of fun to watch now, and he a Boeser are getting a decent chemistry. I really think Suter is going to help the bottom six too so looking forward to him getting back in the lineup.

It is all guessing so anyone's guess is as accurate. I have heard Jalen Chatfield's name thrown out there this morning.

Usually when a name gets thrown around like Kuz it is because they are playing bad. So it's not the best time to be selling.

I do think the Canucks will be buyers but a lower end deal, and some big moves in the off season.

I see Vrana's name thrown out there a lot today. Did he request a trade or the team announce they are trying to move him? For the record I have no interest in him, just wondering.

Also a quote from Petey in an interview from yesterday " We are trying to build long term", that should put an end to the idea he wants out.
