Congrats on the cool guitar and your 1,000th blog. And thank you for doing this blog and bringing it back to life. It's been a fun ride...

I think Reilly will get 6 games... same as Perron. Stupid move by Reilly... yeah I get it that he was pissed as would I be too if it was done to Detroit's open net. But this will probably hurt the Leafs in that they lose their best defenseman for probably 6 games I'm guessing. He's very lucky that Greig was not badly injured or the severity of the punishment would be even worse. Smart move would have been to confront Greig and/or get him to drop the gloves or just shove him into the boards to send a message. Will be interesting to see how well the Leafs play without Reilly on the back end for some games.

Lyon is in net tonight. Kane and Chiarot both back in. Fabbri is out tonight (personal reason). Kostin is on the 4th line. Glad he's back in... as I'm sure Evander Kane may try and take some liberties... can't stand that jacka$$.

Also... LaLonde said Husso will get a start on this road trip at some point. Which is a bit scary. Reimer would be a better choice. I have zero confidence in Husso.

Nice guitar Jeremy. I started playing when I was 7 or 8. In high school and college, I played in bands, then I put the guitar down for many years. In the military, I spent what very little free time I had, with my family. After I retired, it was grad school, starting my career, making up for lost time and driving my kids around to four different travel sports. My oldest started playing when he was 15, so I started playing again. It came back pretty slow but eventually I was back to playing my favorite metal bands from the 80s like Dokken, Ratt, Metallica, Ozzy, VH, Dio, etc.

I'm still nowhere near where I was, and I forgot most of the theory I spent years learning (the TBIs didn't help), but I'm having fun with it again. The guitars haven't changed much but the technology sure has, and many of the young players today make my guitar heroes look like beginners.

Oh man, you hit it right there at the end. It was funny, a friend of mind back around 2005 got tickets to see Ratt opening for Warrrant at Pine Knob. The lawn was sold out but most of the seats were open. We ended up in the 20th row after they said we could move up. Amp modeling/profiling and software has a generation or two of kids who’ve never heard a full stack and that night there were 6 on stage. It was painful! Just like hockey, kids learned “Eruption” off of Youtube and were tearing the guitar apart in a way I never could. Still, I’ll take 2 notes from B.B. King over 2000 by almost anyone else!

Thanks for that. Yeah, it was an Ottawa team that has had a rough year and a player putting an exclamation point on a win. Reilly really screwed up on that one. I’m sure you’ve heard the benches, I’ve only been close enough a couple of times. It’s not always “dinner plans” being discussed. Now you’re on the radar and that gif isn’t going away any time soon. My hope is Perron addressed the team when his happened. Standing up for the captain, a good thing. Skating from that far away and cold cocking a guy who wasn’t involved, horrible look. Take a number and in this sport the opportunities to ‘settle the bill’ present themselves without having to go nuts
