Don’t know if he scored but Walker seemed to be everywhere tonight. |

Some sloppy play out there but they get the W after fighting back. Last year this team would have folded. Laughton with another monster game. Guy looks like he doesn’t want to be traded. |

If we we going to use the metric that Frost has the most points since his meeting with Torts then that proves Tort’s “antics” had a positive effect. Otherwise Frost would be doing this with all of the previous coaches. |

...and mentioning that “Konecny has almost 250 mins more at ES than Frost, so comparing the raw counts doesn't really tell you very much” is an excuse. - roenick97
No, that's not an excuse, it's just a matter of basic data literacy. |

The right button I guess for Frost is playing him and giving him ice time.
Tortorella got his rocks off with Frost coming back at him. It's proven that if they stop (frank)ing with the kid, he will produce. |

Let's see what he does in Toronto on Thursday. He always seems to follow up a dynamic game with a dud. More consistency is needed against the big boys of the league.

Again, you don't have a clue when it comes to Frost. Frost is getting the ice time now because he is playing better. As Torts said, Frost has a tendency to be a perimeter player but lately he is attacking the middle of the ice, and when he does things open up for him. You saw it last night how Frost was using his speed to attack the middle of the ice and he got a penalty shot as a result. It's not the coaching messing with Frost, its Frost finally getting it through his head how he needs to play in order to be an effective player. Hopefully he will consistently play this way moving forward, because I have seen him have good games against teams like Arizona and then regress again. |

They are not "antics", it's called coaching! I have said for years that Frost has to be more assertive, not defer, shoot more, and now you are seeing a very, very good NHL head coach pushing Frost in the same way. Frost is at his best when he is playing with confidence, taking some risks offensively and driving the play. |

Was listening to the discussion room on NHL Network Sirius/XM yesterday afternoon (mainly ex players). They said the one sneaky team that you wouldn't want to play in the first round of the playoffs was your Philadelphia Flyers! They just think that they would be playing with house money and Torts would preach to them that no one is giving them a chance to win! Another thing was brought up. That was TK's next contract. They think the first number in his new contract will start with a NINE! Yikes!! |

That coyotes team is a disgrace, I hope Bettmans proud of his pet project. Time to get rid of them. |

I love TK as you know, and I really want him to be part of the this team. However if this is the term and AAV, I have to walk away if I am the Flyers. |

They are only going up. The cap is scheduled to increase significantly over the next few years. It would be a miracle if he was under $9mil.

I'm not saying that it's right or wrong, but this guy is really becoming the face of this franchise and I doubt they will let him go. I'm just hoping the AAV isn't that high, but if you look at comparable numbers around the league it certainly isn't far fetched that he could get that much. |

When Frost has been placed with skilled linemates he has produced this year and last year. He is not even getting a lot of minutes. He still is not consistently put on the top powerplay. Frost has been doing everything asked of him for two years now. Yet it still took him confronting Torts to get the leash he already earned threw his play on the ice. My opinion, Torts mishandled Frost 100%. He is lucky that Frost is blossoming. Frost is proving himself to be a legit middle six center despite the coach. |

Honest question. Is TK better than Voracek at the point Voracek signed his longterm extension?
