Bill,
How is Brink doing with the Phantoms ? Would he not be a better option than OL or ND? |

Are any of the Flyers 7 defensemen versatile enough to take shifts on the wing if needed?

What’s the point of being outside if they play the game after the sun goes down? |

Bill,
Certainly silly season as the TDL approaches. Do you realistically see the Flyers acquiring any good prospects or are they likely only to receive draft picks in any deals? If any type of high end prospects or young players are realistic possibilities, which ones would you suspect are likely targets? Thanks. |

Good morning gentlemen. Was wondering if anyone was making the trip up to Met Life today? Great experience to be at an outdoor game but, not the best viewing sights.
Had the pleasure of seeing Flyers Rags game back at CBP a few years back. Overall had a nice time, factoring in the cost and even sitting almost dead center ice, still pretty far from the action. Nice to do once. This time around, it will be the couch for me.
LETS GO FLYERS!! |

Does anyone know if the injured players have been seen eating meals with the team and smiling? If so, add them to the Torts poop list. No room for girly men in the locker room. |

I was wondering that too. Is it a temperature/ice quality thing that they don’t want to play during the afternoon? |

Sun glare can be a big problem during the day

Maybe? Just takes the fun out of it being outside to me. All you’ve got left is uncomfortable temperatures and a bad view. |

True. I know it’s all about promotion, selling seats, and $$$. Maybe I’m just a cranky old man, but I don’t see the appeal. |

If I had to pick one I would say Saheim. |

I wonder what Torts see in ND. And the 11/7 lineup is not recommended in any hockey manual. |

I’ll have to go back and check but I seem to remember some of these happening earlier in the day and not at night. |

Wasn’t there one in Lake Placid that had glare problems? The game started as the sun was setting. |

Yes. I do remember that. And the ice was bad. We got destroyed by the Boston pasternaks as we always do. |

18/19 - THE BLACK HAND
Does Brind’Amour count? I know he has worn the “C” in Lindros’ absence.
Obviously we all know Bobby Clarke but I can only name with 100% certainty from Kevin Dineen and up. Tocchett and Mellanby would only be guesses but I wouldn’t know whom came before whom. |

Okay, so Brind’Amour doesn’t count.
To anyone who can remember that time clearly as an adult. Was Lindros the most deserving choice as a young kid or was Brind’Amour robbed? |

Tonight will be the 6th outdoor Flyers game. That ties them for the most of any team in the league, but apparently to some folks on here they are irrelevant. |
