one win in six outdoor games. Coming up miniscule on the big stage time after time.

Ersson is 36th in the NHL in save percentage. Under .900%. Not nearly good enough.

What is the deal with the 7 defenseman lineup? Deslauries plays 5-6 mins a game, essentially playing with 10 forwards. I guess Brink is buried the rest of the year.

Even if the Devils get hot, the Flyers should be able to hold onto a playoff spot. Detroit stinks, Penguins just lost Guentzel for a month, and the Islanders are garbage. Blowing a playoff spot would be a total collapse.

Can’t dwell, the first goal was off the ref, but need a save there. Work on what they can control, Errson on rebounds, some bad luck there, kicking it out right to the Devils. Then the lost coverage in the middle and taking untimely penalties

And for the love of God, now that rhe outdoor game is over sit ND FOR GOOD

Ersson had a rough few games early on that kind of distorted his stats …other than that the kid has been really solid. Last night was not his best but in the end it’s one out of 82 and you move on.
I’m not loving the 11-7 either, but think that ends if DB start to move some guys out. Hopefully Brink plays well and gets another shot.

I’ve had enough of these outdoor games. Terrible broadcast for anyone who actually wanted to watch the game. The announcers seemed totally uninterested in what was going on on the ice. Annoying interviews during play; do we really need a split screen interview with Bettman during a powerplay? The constant inane babble with seemingly no interest in describing what was happening on the ice. Max Weinberg? Subban is trying hard, but has zero charisma or appeal. What was that cringy routine in the NJ locker room? What was he trying to sound like? The silly jerseys. The disconnect between the fans in the stadium and the game. Also, the Flyers have sucked for the last 10+ years. Why are they a team the NHL wants to feature in these events? Why not a team with some stars on it? I’m sick of watching my team lose these games.

Yeah. Eyeroll is right. It’s funny how so many were happy to get rid of him and now we have zero goaltending depth. Could you imagine if Ersson gets hurt? We’d be in a mess then.

Yes. I don’t mind the games tbh but I don’t like how they interview bettman mid play. I don’t want to hear from that troll. Retire already or do you need to be a billionaire?

It's typical ESPN/ABC and their brutal coverage of hockey. Just stick to basketball or whatever the phuck you're good at. Interviewing Buttman while the Flyers were on a PP was absolutely brutal. I mean, interview the turd during the intermission!!! How hard is it to figure that out. A 5 year old producer could nail that one. PK comes across as a total fool/clown! It is just brutally embarrassing and I almost feel sorry for the guy (almost). No more afternoon games or outdoor games for the Flyguys cause they suck at them. Eh what??

Yes. Pk comes in dressed like a straight up pimp wearing fur. I mean, gritty and the nj devil were already there, we don’t need another mascot. In fact, I’d have preferred having gritty on the broadcast.

I agree about the secondary stuff but the view point I thought was great. I thoroughly enjoyed that game. Not as much as if the Flyers had won but very enjoyable to watch. Was able to get a real feel for the speed and skill on display.

The split screen, talking about non-hockey stuff when a goal was scored, horrible announcers and video. Like the overall outdoor

bill do you see lappy being back next season?

Part of the reason, imo, the flyers may not trade anyone is the lack of players being ready in Lehig. It has to be disappointment to see attard ginning andrae not ready to contribute or step in at this time.

do the powers that be see this as a lappy issue for players regressing? or do they like what he is doing?

any insight appreciated.

It was a cool concept at first when they had one on New Years Day, but now the league has to do like 15 of them a season and it’s a complete gimmick. Add to that the league trying to copy the NFL with that playoff wildcard format and a March Madness bracket challenge(?!) which also feels gimmicky. I’d go back to the 1-8 playoff system per conference.

I'm not sure that the NHL is trying to copy the NFL? I mean, the NHL has had this format for quite sometime while the NFL recently changed their format. I do agree though that I'd like to see them go back to the 1-8 playoff system. Hell, I'd take it even further and go with the 1-16 format!! That would be sweet and you would get some different matchups, but they would never do that due to travel constraints.

You play 82 games, you should be rewarded finishing above other teams. Between the 3 point games; and this system, really does not reward good regular season teams.

I have no idea what happened to this guy? I was impressed with his game when he was called up last season. It really looked like he had the goods to be at least a 4th liner at the NHL level. And now...nada. Could be a concern at the player development level. I think they need to move on from Lappy, but I've been sayin this for quite some time now.
