Well, that was fun to watch!!! Brock Boeser is 82.5% of the way to 40 goals. There's 22 games remaining this season. Lots of players having career years, Boeser, Miller, Demko, Hughes, EP40, Hronek, Hoglander, Joshua, Blueger....still hard to believe the turnaround in one season after losing so much for nine straight years. |

Great comeback win last night for the Canucks. Proving just how good this team can be when it gets on a roll. Good teams find a way to win even when they only show up for 3/4 of a period. |

I wonder what kind of contract EP will sign for?

STFU already…
The kid scores 100 points a year for 7.3 million, he’s the second lowest paid player in top 10 scoring both last year and this year. |

They layed the body on their top line in the first, especially on pasta by Z and juulson and they didn’t do much we had them pinned in their own end. |

Enjoyed the game. Good night for Canucks with the standings. I like the Juulsen Big Z combo, I hope we see it again next year.
I will set the record straight. I think EP will sign long term. I won't like the price but I won't complain aside from the fact that I don't like the price. I had seen a few comments last night about it being a crazy idea to trade your best point getter as the team is first overall having his best year ever.
Then earlier reading by some of the same posters saying to trade Boeser who is our best goal scorer while in first place on a great contract. I am not against a trade but it is ironic.
Nice to get back to good hockey. |

Thanks York and Mindy. Big win at a crucial time. Gotta love those.
Now that we're approaching the trade deadline shouldn't we be discussing the return we are getting for Myers? I believe Vantel had it pegged at a 4th rounder earlier this year. But with his inflated 6 million dollar salary I suppose we'd have to add a sweetener.

I think we would need to give up a second round pick to trade him now. At the start of the year we would have needed to give up a first so he has played better.

Maybe if we packaged up Petey and Brock along with Myers. We might be able to get a decent RHD and a scoring forward.
On a side note, anyone know where our Oiler friends from last week are? I miss them. |

Thanks Yorkie! Great win and an even better comeback. Miller is a beast, Juulsen is playing playoff hockey, and Big Z is showing great movement for a big guy.

But yes, I agree the time to trade Myers was last offseason. Unfortunately I don't think they will be able to offload the giraffe now |

1st overall and a work in progress, I’ll take that at the end of February and feel good about it. |

Nice work NYN. Fantastic game where our top players were excellent. Miller, Zad and Hughes. Pouty continues to suck and should be traded after we win the cup. Boeser is still terrible and can’t generate anything without Miller carrying his corpse but props to him for the clutch goals |

Eventually I will run out. It actually required some thought this morning. Luckily I'm not an ex Defenceman or Booner so I'm capable of it.

Great game. IMO they deserved the win and carried the play.
So JT, Petey, E2, and Blu down the middle, that is strong for any type of game matchup.
I wonder what it would take to get Greenway out of Buf? They paid 2 2nds for him from Min. Having a player like him and Joshy on the squad would be nice option.
Any other suggestions for that type of large body banger with skill that can be a budget pickup? |
