What’s going on with Sillinger? He looks like he’s really dropped off from his rookie season.

9479.

Sillinger is in slump right now, but his play has greatly improved this year IMO. He will be a very good NHL player.

Just my opinion, and take it for what it's worth.

With this win, IMO this has been a very successful 10 days to 2 week period, the CBJ have shown some real signs of growth. Other than the loss in LA, the team has played well, wining games and showing greatly improved play in the defensive side of the puck. Both goalies have played well, especially Tarasov, though Elvis did a great job in this game too. On the flip side, there is improved play up front, but we need another finisher or two. IMO there were a lot of great chances that were not converted recently, and to progress up the ladder the team has to score more goals, especially from their top 2 lines *even though both lines have played well they need to get better).

Even the Buffalo loss was a well-played game, the Sabres goalie deserves a ton of credit for that win.

I hope this improvement continues for the rest of the season, and is a springboard into next season.

One more comment,

This kid for the Rangers needs a break. I'm sorry to say this, but Mathieu Olivier had no business going after him, just like Deslauriers had no business doing it Saturday.

If TV shows video of these guys arranging fights in pregame, I'm no fan of it. I like fighting when it's justified, but if the new guy is going to be a boxer every night, them put the gloves on and retire from Hockey. Let the kid play the game and fight when necessary.

Didn't watch the game, but I can only assume the fight set the tone for both sides, especially the Jackets, given this team doesn't have much to get hyped about these days. That being said, Voronkov is crushing it , or should I say that Russian line .

Good time for the CBJ to get hot and string a few wins
