He let in 2 really bad goals.

Sorry but good NHL goaltending is not letting 2 stinkers in.

The “not his fault” goals is a bs cop out. They are paid to stop shots that “aren’t their fault” if they go in.

He had a bad game, onto the next. It’s not a big deal.

Good for you if you think that is good goaltending, I have higher expectations for Samsonov than you.

I did not see the game, really at all. I think I saw two Vegas goals, but I was on the run most of the night - both goals to me looked like horrific breakdowns and obvious missed assignments by the Leaf's players just watching Vegas run around them.

All metrics say that Vegas outplayed Toronto at 5v5 and should have won, and definitely outplayed Toronto in all situations, given the PP disparity in the game (and from what I had read here and on Twitter, the general bias of the officials).

I will say that the advanced statistics say that Sammy allowed 0.86 more goals than he should have and if he allowed a stinker it probably speaks to the fact that he still outperformed the one bad goal.

They Leafs were outclassed in every aspect of the game.

The score was an accurate reflection of the effort put forth by both teams.
