I want to make the playoffs. The 2024 trade deadline has little to no effect on whether or not the Flyers are contenders in 5 to 8 years from now. I definitely don’t want to be the team that folded 60 games in and left the door open for the Devils or Penguins to take our place in the post season. Players who have never had playoff experience or very little of, I think this follows them around a bit.

Dallas picked up a D and now Leafs, which from looking he is one of the worst defenders this year.

Still plenty cup contenders that want to add to the back end. Edmonton, Devils, Bruins, Lightning, Jets.

I still think you can get a pretty go deal for Walker or Seeler.

And I still think Laughton gets moved, someone is going to want that type of player for the playoffs.

they absolutely can get a solid deal for walker and seeler. That being said if they have set their own high price will they budge off it or be stubborn?

if they don't make a trade and just end up with a middle of the pack draft picks it's a waste of season

Plus with a year left on his deal you can get Cam ready to play that 4th line role.

lets say an off injury or 2 occur/ game misconducts. Cam has the possibility to fill in, ND does not.

Just imagine they do not trade either, reseign them to long-term deals and continually finish in third place or scrap for a WC spot, all the while drafting in the late teens and NEVER getting elite talent via the draft?
