Bill , any chatter about picking up a vet goalie. Or do you think they will just ride this out.

A sixty-minute game in which the Flyers dominated for say a minute?
You can talk of opportunism but the display is much more pleasing.
I was following the shot totals displayed on the screen icon. The first period was awful and then, despite the efforts of the arguably best NHL team, the Flyers held them in the third to zilch while playing them MORE than even.
If you have the game recorded go to the Third Period about twelve minutes in. The uneven shot totals get a lot better. From a three to two ratio to near even. Impressive rebound!
The sheer number of subs on the D made a prediction of another outcome both easy and untrue.
Who are these guys?
Playing competently was unexpected by me but after their legs got under them (a highly useful phrase) I was proven ever so wrong.
Go Flyers!!

Going into the sunshine state, I said that coming home with two points... no matter how obtained... would be a satisfactory outcome... 1-1, or 0-0-2 would suffice in an awfully tough little road trip... Well that has already been accomplished.

I suppose the more important game still lies ahead; a 4-point match against a key rival in the playoff race in the East... if the Flyers are caught and unseated from the automatic 3rd place spot... A point against the Bolts you could say would be a bare minimum outcome, and basically be a wash between the Flyers and Lightning over the past couple days... but taking two points, preferably in a regulation win, could go a very long way in firming up a postseason slot in the (B)East.

Buckle up your seat belts... forget for the moment the Isles... and work your collective arses off in bringing home the full four points from the state of Florida, boys... a wild and raucous fan base awaits you at WFC; just make sure it's not a trap-game also awaiting you.

Feel like someone is going to get desperate today and make a move for Laughton. Is Wennberg really all the Rangers do? Maybe Dallas. Team is built to contend this year.

They basically got a lesser version replacement with Bunting and took less futures because of it. Penguins would of been better off to get better futures instead.

Is there a way to watch TSN live on YouTube or something for the trade deadline

For many years I had been an anti-Tortorella person... I was a bit impressed by his attitude when the Flyers brought him in, but cringed at the way he treated some of his own players, and muddled the skids for his GM to deal the players he wanted to discard... I've scratched my head at how he's been able to handle his roster, yet still win games they should be losing; with undermanned roster to boot... I've watched unbelievably at his 7D/11F lineups, and benching of key players at precipitous moments... I honestly feel that he will wear out his welcome, and lose his players in due time... but having said all that, I'm completely amazed how he has been able to milk what he has out of this team... this season. I know it will all have to come to an end... but that's what I've been thinking about all I've said throughout this post.

Do I begrudgingly give the devil his due... as I enjoy riding the Krazy Kat Express... or merely marvel at the scenery on the road to Palookaville? I'm honestly at a loss believing what I'm seeing... but I am thoroughly enjoying attending games at WFC again, and watching the Flyers on TV... Enjoying it while it lasts.

Hi in quantity, low in quality. A very underwhelming return for a one of the best wingers in the NHL.

Agreed, Bunting did show some promise when he was in Toronto but has been maybe average since going to Carolina.

Those were my thoughts. They didn't even get a first rounder unless Carolina wins the cup.

Wasn't really impressed.
