I don’t think they’ll know until player only workouts. Hope I’m wrong, but if he gets “tweaked” then surgery could sideline beginning of season

I doubt the team is counting on him. Look for Yzerman to pick up a moderately priced free agent goaltender; Stolarz may fit the bill.

I agree. There is some buzz around the uncertainty. No clue where they’ll look.
