Doesn’t seem like a fit here. Dubas wants a young and fast supporting class and Sullivan does not like one way players. Dubas should absolutely be forcing Sullivan’s hand to ice offensive players but I don’t really see Dubas wanting Skinner any more than Sully

I don't know on Skinner. The problem is that in free agency, its not necessarily a guarantee he is going to go on a cheap deal. He could be a nice fit for the 3rd line to add some speed and offence if we strike out elsewhere, but I think there are many other players that should be prioritized in FA/trade.

I think guys like him and Mantha are interesting for a couple years at a couple million but who knows what they would actually get in Free agency.

I read an article last night about the relationship between Dubas and Mikheyev back in Toronto. It even suggested the Pens could trade for him. His contract has been a disaster and he has been a bust in Vancouver, so while I really can't see it happening, who knows? Soucy ran into injury issues and Vancouver really wants to re-sign Zadorov for 2LD, which they originally signed Soucy to cover. So maybe:

Graves & Smith ($2M retained) for Soucy & Mikheyev? They upgrade on forward, we upgrade on D and get out of the long term pain of Graves.

Smith for Mikheyev & their 2025 2nd and 2024 3rd would also be something I would go for.

Like with Skinner, we should hope Dubas has something better planned.

Cool. Tell Yzerman to dump Berggren on the Flyers for a 5th...no need to sign him and save that money.

Walman was a LD, Stevie is likely clearing room to bring in Graves & Jarry. Would be cool to see Stamkos in Detroit though.

Just give me a 2nd. The league is giving you an extra one for being bad at drafting.

Konecny is an underrated stud. Would love him on the Pens. Why do I see so many Flyers fans wanting to rid of him?

The upcoming contract.

The Flyers strongest assets are on the wings, but lack any true top 6 centers and prospects now that Michkov gets to destroy the Penguins so many times a year.

Konecny is no question my favorite current Flyer, but his timeline does not fit with the Flyers and his value is at its highest. Smartest move is trade him, so Flyers will resign him.

Well that's sh!t as a Pens fan hahah but as a hockey fan in general I'm really curious to see how he does against the best in the world. Also curious how he and Torts get along. Seemed like Torts was starting to wear thin on the locker room towards end of last season with the handling of Coots and what not. I could be wrong in saying that though

Yeah, that's pretty deep at wing.

Now if I listed the centers.....yeah I'm not going to do that.

Maybe I will be able to add Hagens and McKenna to that list in the future

I don't think you go after Skinner if you don't see him as a PP1 player for you. Sid is the bumper player so Skinner isn't replacing him.

Need a RH shot for the PP and/or a wing that can shift to center if needed.
