Way too many Commercials!!!!! Can’t read any comments without being bombarded!! Then the way ask for $20 to get rid of them!! Crazy!

I've been here since 2006, usually just reading, not commenting. At its peak this was a great place to visit but sadly most of the best writers are long gone.

It's the way of the internet, far bigger 'message board' sites have come and gone as the audience gets more and more fractured.

Agreed about the ads. Degrades the entire experience while regularly crashing my browser. 50 ads on the page doesn't equate 50 times revenue but diminishing returns.

I think there are like 10 teams without a writer. Plus 5 or 6 others sharing a single writer. The ads crash my phone. I think people come for the comments, but these are heavily censored with suspensions aplenty. But overall, anyone can post stories. The key here is the network of sources giving us inside info that other sites don't have.

I think only 21 teams have a writer. I come here for other commenters. SB Nation shut down most team sites a few years ago. Cap friendly is obviously going off line tomorrow. There's very few NHL communities worth anything. Been banned on Reddit too many times to try that again.

Get AD BLOCKER and get rid of all the ads Mine said that over the years that I have had it it blocked over 9 million ads And it is FREE You can make a donation but you do not have to

That has always bothered me. And now the Habs appear to be in the same boat since Karine left. Last blog was June 18th. You would think Ek would make SURE that the teams with the most active fanbases would get regular content. He seems to have given up long ago and is just content collecting whatever ad revenue he gets now. It's sad, cause this site was rockin' back in the day.

Why not just appoint a fan expert for each team and let them get the conversation started? Periodically switch writers. Give me a team and I'll write for free. Would be daily.

I have often wondered this exact thing. A decent topic gets the conversions going. As a somewhat lack-luster fan I enjoy reading all of different points of views.

I believe it's some of the people on other teams sites..There's a bunch on pittsburghs that's for sure. It's more clicks or something. It's there thoughts or nothing.
