looks like a heart attack I was told. he was always on the ice at hollydell helping out.
one year he coached at comcast he had several nhl draft picks and D1 players on that roster. |

Condolences to the Voce family. That is a tragedy. My heart goes out to his Wife and Daughters. Way to young to grow up without a Father. Just more proof that you have to live every day to the fullest. Never know when it's going to be your time. |

Once again, the sad reality of the real world and the fleeting nature of life has "intruded" into our make believe world of Hockey Buzz. It has a way of grounding all of us when such sad news of a 43 year old seemingly healthy man suddenly passes from this world. May God rest his soul!
RIP Tony Voce! |

Not exactly a revelation....
Briere: Flyers know Laughton's ‘intangibles' have no price
https://www.nbcsportsphil...les-have-no-price/570161/ - Feanor
The stats say he is one of the worst players in the league when you factor in role and cap hit. At some point the Flyers have to take into consideration what happens ON THE ICE.

Even Torts recognized it by cutting his ice time and demoting him to the 4th line for a large chunk of the season. |

Flyers have a hard time reconciling value to their team versus value to other teams. They drastically overvalue intangibles. They like players like that for their marketing campaign and talking points. As this fan base gullibly eats up phrases such as "hard to play against", " playing the right way, " Flyers hockey" and "culture"

Nah, Laughts' future as President of the Flyers Alumni Association is far more important.
The pickleball events won't organize themselves.

I would say the photoshoot speaks even loader. GM lie all the time about moves. These new photos were newly taken and shown to the public. |

Starting to believe this is what it will be this season, that there are no trades coming this off season. Not even any smoke at this point from what I can tell. Hopefully trades will happen at the deadline next season, since I still believe this lineup is good enough to be a bubble team which is pergatory. |

Yes, but if the Flyers traded Laughton, who would organize pride night moving forward? |

Good point. I think Poehling is better than Laughto, which is why its puzzling the Flyers have not moved Laughton yet. The only thing I can think of is Danny's comments were meant solely to bring up the price because so far what the Flyers are being offered is just not worth trading him. |

about as vanilla as one can get. nothing to fear or really plan for if your an opposing team. it is a garbage lineup.
imagine missing the playoff for what 4 years now, being capped out, a less than stellar prospect pool, no studs on your roster, ( 1 potentially), and this is your lineup. definitely rebuilding.
cant wait for a cates ext as well. why not right.
