Besides what EK said….you would think they would…but the Flyers do seem to have a group of young goalies already in house…not sure how they feel they would measure up to Askarov. I did see Askarov had a great regular season but struggled in the playoffs. Maybe that’s why Nashville seemed to abandon their plan to anoint the kid and just handed the vault keys to Saros?

If I was Nashville I wouldn't do anything unless the offer was outrageous.

just basing it on what is out there in terms of the Russians. Carson I do not see as an nhl goalie. didn't like that pick at all.

dont see Sam as an everyday nhl starter at this time. the ivan who the hell knows.

I thought Yegor Zavragin was supposed to be a stud. Not sure what his time table for possibly coming over is.

Same here. I am more familiar with Gene Hart and I miss his Geneisms during his play by play.

Like remember how Hart was supposed to be the next great North American goalie? The folks who were so busy hyping him up as the next Carey Price curiously glossed over his lack of athleticism, his weak glove, his questionable durability and his mental fragility.

To me his stick handling and decision making outside of the crease was what bother me the most about his play
