Love the Lacombe signing! He showed real promise last year, and he played a lot of it on his off side. The Nesterenko signing is alright. Despite promising play in San Diego, he didn't amount to much in Anaheim. Still, he's a good guy to have around for an injury call up. |

It's a 2 year signing. It'll be good for Lacomb to establish himself more In the league. His value should really jump as he gets more minutes. |

Solid deals both …. But now 6 nhl LHD …. Something’s gotta give -
Trade - LaCombe, Vaaks and or Dummo ir some combo for forward help.
Keep - Minty / Olen / Cam .. untradeable .. imo
Minty / RHD - or Dummo 🤢🤢🤢🤢
Olen / Gudas
Cam / Luneau
I guess those guys could be 6-8 but I’d rather trade a couple for help - |

Good deals. The 2-year deal at near league minimum makes LaCombe a more valuable trade chip if PV chooses to go that route.
LaCombe learned a lot of lessons the hard way last year and the frustration was visible at times, but he also showed some potential and has a chance to be a solid second pairing guy with the versatility to play either side.
Nesterenko is potentially the kind of depth guy that every org needs - someone who can play up and down the lineup when guys get hurt. If he continues to develop this year, he could eventually be that guy in Anaheim. |
