Matt Cooke’s dangerous presents on the ice was a big help that season. Never knew if it would be a big clean hit, your career ended, or a goal.

Tbf, idk if you misspelled presence or not given the context and your love affair with penalty minutes.

To be fair, I don’t give a poop. Cooke was the best in those dangerous days. Before modern hockey ruined him.

Cooke with his white hockey stick leading the nhl in goals for a brief time. He was a stud.

That being said I didn’t like Kennedy because of his pig face. Same with Rodriquez and Petterson. Just weird looking people.

He wasn't the best, just the most well-known. Raffi Torres was way more of a wildcard as to what to expect.

Grinder: This is irrelevant to pittsburgh penguins so called "fans"? Mario got them tamed (like he did with cooke) to not hit/touch anything that breathes on the opposite side of the ice. If you do bump into someone? See ian cole or reaves in the press box or 3 minutes played a game from the wanna be GM sullivan.

I agree, I feel like Cooke still left more bodies in his wake than Torres did though. Torres in the finals in 06? Was awesome. Somehow no one got hurt because players still took it upon themselves to protect themselves.

Talking about Kennedy, we decided to re-sign him instead of bringing in Jagr...

I was actually very excited when we brought in Ponikarovsky haha

I liked Eaton. He was a good 3rd pairing guy.

Losing Goligoski wasn't much of a problem as we got Niskanen and Neal on the trade back then. Niskanen was very good for us.

That’s pretty sweet. Only a few places left you can catch giant white sturgeon.
