I hit 160.
Wrapped in foil, repoked in the thermometers, jacked up smoker to 300.
Just have to pick up the dog poop in the backyard and make arrangements for my limo to pick up Stonsie at the airport.
Then I may just crack my first beer.
Edit: Stoner is a better hockey name. |

It’s a beautiful day for a backyard get together. Beers must be consumed soon. |

Pork butt taken off the smoker at 204F internal temperature.
A little earlier than anticipated, but no big thang.
Now resting in cooler. Guys are supposed to arrive at 6 pm - so let’s say 6:30 irl.
3 hour rest, followed by pulling and sammy assembling - and hopefully they turn out, or I’ll order a couple of pizzas. |

Hockeybuzz insider tip: never look at MiB’s prospect list until Labour Day weekend. |

Maybe he's the reincarnation of Jere Lehtinen or something, but not sure how a 24 year old with only 25 points in 31 games in one of the worst divisions in the NCAA can be one of the best left wingers in the NCAA... |

I imagine that NCAA play quality is a mixed bag from the little I have watched and what I have read about it. Your average college athlete is more concerned with getting laid and drunk than winning games. Half of the players in any given game are probably hung over, high, or day-dreaming about the big-booby blonde they are gonna bang after the game. That's pretty much everyone in their 20's, but more so for athletes. NCAA scouting is probably a lot like reading tea leaves... |

The roadhouse king burger is edible, but not enjoyable. Labouring my way through a burger with no gusto murdered a part of my soul. |

I agree Five Guys does rule. We don't have Culvers here in Canuckistan.
McDonalds is in its own category for me. If I want a burger, I can get that many places. But if I want a McDonalds that's its own thing. The Big Mac or the glorious McDouble with a Sausage n Egg McMuffin stuffed inside of it exists in a different sphere of experience. |

Fat Donalds is my choice of last resort or a target of opportunity.
I have one very close to my house, but I rarely go there. Usually if we're on a beach or road trip and a Fat Donalds is convenient, then we'll stop. But only because it's on the same side of the highway we're already on and I don't have to fight as much traffic to get in and out.
I still like their breakfast though... mostly out of nostalgia. The sausage meat disc is more rubbery than it used to be.
