Such an interesting day… let the offersheeting begin!

I think many teams would covet Seider, but you’d have to supermaxx him an offer. I don’t see it happening. Oilers are in a pickle, but they are in a win-now, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

I agree on Seider. If they’re already talking mid to high 8s (I don’t know) or even 9 is a team going to come in at 9.5+? Never say never, but GMs hold onto this stuff.

For Edmonton, you have the duo replacing Crosby/Malkin (opinion) to build around. That’s an enviable problem and yeah, it may cost you some players down the line. At this point, Evander Kane is the LTIR year starter who may heal up just past the TDL. You’ll have that rotating block of vets on league min who want to win and ELC players with the core stars. It will be interesting to watch but I think Kenny knew things were going to get complicated in filling out the roster.

Seider and Raymond would have to accept a ridiculously high offer for the Wings not to match. JB won't be offered one, he is not worth $2.29M salary and a 3rd round pick.

Broadcast Buzz has the Panthers doing their own thing and not relying upon a big broadcast co. Good on them!

Maybe this is Stevie's chance to unload Holl. Cece + for Holl at 1/2 salary. That would be about $1.75M more in cap space for the Oil.

Yeah I had the link to the Panthers release. On the same day Tampa Bay announced to be selling. Insane day. Good on Florida for taking control. Too many people waiting around and “hoping” still.

I agree on Seider and Raymond. JB, I don’t know. It depends on how a team with cap space views him. It’ll all shake out in a month or so.
