Le Habs will have 2 good lines IF Laine regains his form.
RyJo is slow, has an attitude problem and now washed up.

Holy cow, can you imagine Laine for that deal. Wow. That was worth a chance. But hindsight is 20/20.

Random thoughts due to hockey withdrawal…

When I retire, I want to spend September in TC so I can watch the entire camp. It is an exciting time. Would love it if #13 continues to make cameos for the Wings in whatever capacity…

I wish ASP was going to be with the griffins next year. They are taking. Huge hit on D without SE and AJ. However, I think they will be better in goal with a developing Cossa and vet minutes from Campbell.

There does seem to be a lot of talk on who is going to make the team out of camp. We will know in a little over a month.

That part of TC is beautiful. There’s a mall that had once been a, um, place to get mentally better. There are so many breweries and vineyards that they give away samples in one of the T shirt shops. We loved going. For Laine, just no way to fit in that money with CBJ wanting the whole thing unless they were willing to take Copp. I think everyone will be watching to see how he does, and if there is a disconnect as a teammate or just some bad situations in WPG and CBJ. Would have liked to take the shot but never happened

I'm usually pretty jaded when it comes to the Habs, but given the term and 'potential' of Laine to regain form, I actually am pretty happy with this deal. I'll miss Harris, but the habs had a logjam on defence and we couldn't have played him properly.

Full marks, they had a way to make it work and got it done. Well put.
