I don’t know. Raymond was packing up yesterday. I heard they trained together in a way to stay safe during negotiations but haven’t heard any travel stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was en route while things get hammered out but haven’t heard anything at all.

I think you’re right. This has just been an oddly long process. I think Mo is a team guy and this is just a very unique negotiation post ELC, as was Raymond. Just been such a slow news summer.

Ansar Khan posted the training camp roster as well as noting that Alex Chiasson will join the group on a PTO. Seider is listed with an “X” in front of his name, obviously he’s expected but won’t suit up until the ink is dry.

It could be just fine. I reached out to someone to find out “where’s Waldo”. I haven’t heard back. This is just a guess, but if he and Raymond were living near each other (possibly sharing a place, who knows) they may both have bought tix. Let’s just see what the morning brings.

Are you forgetting that pre-season has 2 teams till the last day of pre-season and that some of these guys are looking for jobs with the Griffens and the Walleye as well.

X2. At camp they usually have 4 full groups for drills and scrimmages. As camp breaks players will be sent to jr, overseas, AHL etc. they’ll carry a heavy roster into the preseason and whittle it down.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Alex Chiasson on a PTO. Always kinda liked him. A good net front presence @ 6'4". Has decent hands and can cop an attitude when needed. Him and Ficher would be a nice fit....... Any word on if Mo is at camp.???

Mo could literally be in Traverse and waiting. I have no idea where he is. If the sides are close adding travel post signature wouldn’t benefit the player. He could be in his Detroit home waiting. Then it’s a 6 hour drive, not terrible. He won’t participate but again, that doesn’t dictate where he is physically located.
