Brandt Clarke was drafted over 3 years ago - 3 solid years in the OHL and 1 solid year in the AHL. I think this is a perfect chance for him to play bigger minutes. Even if he makes mistakes, it's a great opportunity for him to play and grow with Byfield, Spence, Turcotte, and under the vets

It's always astounding to me how supposed NHL fans don't grasp the positional difference between left and right defenseman. Very few can play both sides well and Chabot is no exception.

Probably. The pacific is pretty competitive right now. Edmonton, Vegas, and Vancouver are probably gonna be the top 3. So LA would have to battle for a wild card spot.
If things get bad by Christmas they should just sell. No point in fighting a uphill battle with low odds.
