Only get it if it's a signing bonus, home games, and any other game played in FL or TX. All other games played in other cities are taxed. Yes, they get a tax break, but not as much as you'd think.

This is the hard truth. One successful playoff run and every contract is justified.
The real problem is that the owners ok their GM's to hand out these contracts, but then refuse to lift the salary cap to a level at which one can build a complete roster in the landscape they've created.
