Great write up. I have to agree, these Flames seem tighter than any bunch from the past. Don’t get me wrong there have been a lot of camaraderie with former teams, but the makeup of this roster seems legit. Maybe it’s because there seems to be players from the Wranglers that have graduated to the Flames and they’re so happy to see more teamates play there. Maybe it’s all the turnover this past year? Could it be that Connie shipped out all the moody entitled players? I don’t know but it’s pretty awesome team to watch.

I think that the outpouring of love during the Gaudreau tragedy has had a ripple effect on the organization and players going into this season. Especially with how they approach things.
