2nd!

Interesting to note that the hawks are drafting speed at forward, and right now, the Washington Capitals have in my opinion one of the slower first lines in hockey with Ovi- D Strome - and the lumbering giant, Aliaksei Protas on the other wing.

It is nice to see the the Blackhawks use their older prospects as the emergency recalls.
I have no problem with Isaak Phillips coming up and getting more opportunites against pro attackers.
Same with Nolan Allen showing he has strong defensive leanings and edge.

On the 2025 Draftt front:

I have not adjusted my Lines.com draft board yet, but there is a top 12 echelon of players and furure #1 goalie Prince George's Joshua Ravensbergen or big RD Blake Fiddler sitting there for the Toronto pick.

Post note: i redid my top two rounds of 2025 if you want an early update.

No Anderson(ill) or Maroon (leg) tonight, Athanasiou and Donato draw in. This might be the Hawks’ fastest lineup. Hope the boys keep playing strong competitive hockey. Soderblom gets the net, hopefully the Hawks put up some goals for him, as he deserved better against Winnipeg. Saw Nashville lost again, damn 0-5 now after forking out a ton of money this summer. Smashville, definitely struggling.

You can listen or watch Nashville loaded farm team bs Rockford at 6pm previous to the start time of the Blackhawks.

Last night that Milwaukee team beat Rockford by a 6-3 count. Without a game analysis, I perused the box score and saw a minus three rating for two Rockford ECHL calibre dmen

I am totally enthralled with this L’Heroux Nashville prospect. Tough agitator dirty too he can score and rises to occasion with goals in big games. Had a few yes a few hat trick and two husk games in last season AHL playoffs. Was # 27 overall in his second season AHL

Geez, sure hate to see Nashville struggling. They actually got out goalied today against the Wings. Won’t be able to watch the game tonight, but I’ll be checking the score when possible.

Nice to see Lardis has 8 goals 11 points in his first 7 OHL games this season.

Nazar with 3 points in his first 2 games in Rockford and some of the Hawks college prospects off to decent starts.

Boisvert 4 points in 2 games.
Thompson 4 points in 3 games.
Greene 4 points in 3 games.
James 5 points in 4 games.
Rinzel 2 goals 3 points in 3 games. Matched his goal total from 39 games last year (2) in the first 3 games of the season.

It's too bad Roman Kantserov hasn't played a game yet (I assume he is injured)
Also hope we can see Vanacker back in action soon. I know he was out about 4-6 weeks after having shoulder surgery June 3rd, he would be about 4.5 months into that rehab time now, so maybe soon he will get back in action.

I believe that Nazar is a genuine prospect and I pay no attention to two of three sources on another fam site who don’t think Nazar will amount to much. Actually we can see or even just listen to the Rockford Icehogs tonight 6pm previous to start of Blackhawk hockey. BTW what is your iou in o DelMaestro - I project him to become SOLID third pair due to his strengths but also his skating makes me question whether he can be mobile enough and a capable second pair - but you have to love his strengths and root for him

Taige Harding is playing another season collegiate and is an I triguing prospect. Kelly on defense also Blackhawk drafted both play for Providence

I have asked wiz for his analysis on Nazar ceiling

Even more than Spellacy Soderblom was the biggest camp surprise to me. A seemingly completely different player from the chaos agent he was last yr. .. Really glad he gets the start before Broisett comes off the IR.

The Sabres are a complete mystery. Legit high end prospects and players but coach after coach fails with this roster. A period of watching this group and you can see how little cohesion there is....... As an 18 yr old Benson stuck with the big club last yr. . It's taken a long while but Greenway has finally become the power player many thought he'd become outa The Program.

Goal on a kk give away… threw it up the moddle instead of along the boards… did it twice.. second time resulted in a goal. Milwaukee up 3-0 in first. Hogs look like theyre skating in quicksand
