Albeit against the lowly Blackhawks, the team played well in the second a third periods. A bit too much pond hockey, or "river hockey" as Tocchet coined it lol, in the first period. Too wide open for his liking, I'm sure.
All four lines played well and that mix of Garland, Hoggy and Petey seems to be meshing well, they played excellent 5v5!! Miller was just ok at even strength, but a monster on the PP, for being injured he's their best forward by a mile.
Team needs another top four defenseman though, as you mentioned NYN, he's getting too many minutes. |
