i said before the SEA game that OTT NEEDS to win at the very least the next 4 games in a row if they want to show/be playoffs contenders and they are a changed team from the smith/dorion era, 1 win down 3 to go.
OTT still way to passive wen defending they need to pressure the other team much more and stop letting them shoot so much, especially from the point. |

Thanks for the blog. Many excellent points, especially end of period game management.
The thing that stood out to me was the significant improvement in play in the defensive zone, both by the defencemen and the greater support provided by the forwards. Kleven and JBD have played well with fewer mistakes. |

I really liked the Sens games against the Rangers and Kraken. Both games I saw a confident group who were playing smart hockey. The defence over those two games was as strong as I have seen it in recent years. Very few high chance scoring opportunities were given up. Even Hamonic has looked good. |

Need Pinto back. What's the update on him?
High ankle sprain?
Zub.
I'm not sure we'll see Zub again ever.
(edit)
Source HF Board Injury update guy.
Zub and Pinto taking line rushes as a defense pair at practice. That's good news! |

Sens appear to be earning some early respect from thr power rankings around the league. These sites are more bullish on the Sens than fans are, who are hesitant to get their hopes up.
Some wins against a couple on paper winnable games coming up could change that. |
