Thanks for blog York well said.

I would add you can blame coaching and management more for this loss. Despite the poor performance they still had a chance into the 3rd. That’s when after heroic efforts to keep it a one goal game the 4th against was a complete drain of all energy. It was a cake walk after that for the Oil.

I will dare to say changes will be made by the next game. Also hope for some healed bodies to return and replace Aman and Juulson’s brutal game.

Enjoy. Don’t think the stars will aline next time so well for your Oilers.

11.6 might need to get moved to for a dman around 6 and a 2nd line center around 6 or 7 as well

No need long term solutions are found with cap going up and prospects coming in. Making knee jerk reaction trades lead to Cam Neely trade type of results for Canucks. Good thing we have a smart management group.

That's not knee jerk. It's almost been a year. Millsy made him better. Kuz can score. Quite honestly he's an average 3rd line player most nights with flashes of high end potential. Jesper Kotkineimi comes to mind but he had very very good years playing with an elite player and a Russian who could score. That's my opinion not worth arguing. He's a nhl caliber 3rd liner with upside.

The Cam Neely trade happened about 4 decades ago and about 7 or 8 regimes. STFU.

This is about as intelligent as your trade Boeser mantra. Give it up son. Maybe try a different sport with Reuby?

Thank you. Well, maybe spoke too soon on Lankinen but it was bound to catch up to him. Even with Boeser and Demko out, losing to a very mediocre Edmonton Oilers club at this point like that at home not a very good sign. Hoping for more.

Thanks Yorky. (I've run out of nicknames.)

That one stunk. This group needs to find another level for games like this. Especially at home. They were so good in LA. I doubt anyone saw them laying an egg like this the very next game.

Well I guess if you're gonna lose ... lose big. First NJ now Edm, only costs 2 points either way.

Soucy comments are interesting as he had a pretty rough game from what I saw. He was an offensive black hole out there - giveaways and dump ins to the corner when they had a cycle going. Thought he would bring more offensive instinct from Seattle, but he seems to still be trying to find his way.

Desharnais is terrible. If he didn't have the size he'd have no business being pro level. I'll leave it at that. Really screams how stabilizing a guy like Ian Cole was, even if he didn't have the best highlights towards the end of his tenure in Van.

The Stanley cup finals team is mediocre, seems like not a very fair assessment. Very good team, objectively one of the best in the NHL.

Weird. I thought Soucy had a decent game. He and Myers were the only D not to finih in the - column.

I'm still trying to figure out why they dressed 7 Dmen. It literally threw the entire lineup out of whack.
