I am NOT saying I wouldn't trade any of them but I don't want to trade any of my teams top 6 or 4. Sure if there's a good deal I'd do it, but there's nobody I want gone too badly. If Tavares wasn't on the final year of his deal but has say...4 more years I'd probably say him due to aging and high cap hit.

Nick Robertson is obviously a top-6 superstar, but I guess if another team made a spectacular offer I would have to at least listen.

Erik Karlsson is sapping the energy from the Penguins. He has had a negative effect on Letang. Get that cap hit cleared away

I don't know if any team has a longer list of candidates than the Penguins, although Malkin isn't one of them in my opinion. He has one year left and wants to stay and he's playing pretty well. But I would love to see Erik Karlsson gone ASAP. He not only stinks but he doesn't put forth much effort. If there is a way to get out from Letang's contract I wouldn't be upset about that. He's had a great career and I like him but paying him $6.1M for three more seasons after this for his current level of play makes no sense. Rust might be another one that could go. He gives the effort but is hurt a lot.

Karlsson for the D and Rakell for the top 6. I dont dislike Rakell but he makes $5M/yr, is 31 years old and is signed thru 2028. I fully expect the pens to get calls about Beauvillier, Oconnor, Acciari and Pettersson. Lizotte and Glass cant stay healthy and who would take the Graves contract?
