Jan, thank you for continuing this blog despite the state of this franchise.

I have never been more embarrassed of this team than I am right now. In fact, I have never been embarrassed by this team, just disappointed, until now. But this current iteration of the Rangers is absolutely embarrassing and I want no part of it.

There are no silver linings here, I don't even think there is anything to look forward to at this point. This season and beyond is currently lost. Nobody on this team right now will win anything wearing the Rangers sweater, I sincerely believe that.

I'm not sure I will watch another game until every current member of the roster and management group is gone. They fucking disgust me right now.

I think zib may go down as my all team least favorite ranger. I was never his biggest fan at his best but understood his value. But man now I just beg for him to be scratched each game

If you look at the standings they’re only 7 pts away from the having most lotto balls lol

Id like to see them call up Othmann at the very least. And don’t baby him, let him play a regular top 9 shift. Even Sykora who’s having a decent year. Get some young youthful excitement to an extremely bland product

It makes this all even worse. So many Rangers fans are so stupid, especially when they cheered that the Devils "got stuck" with Hughes during that draft. It just gave them that great clip to use against them when the Devils actually accomplish something as the Rangers disappear into obscurity.

Forget the goalie, which was a massive need, and forward, it was the uplift of their defense. Their blue line has been so good, Simon Nemec is relegated to playing in the AHL. Brenden Dillon was a great add, so was Brett Pesce and surprising, Jonathan Kovacevic. That's half a blue line to go with Dougie Hamilton, Luke Hughes and Jonas Siegenthaler. Mika was really good before Lavy. This is one the major strike against Lavy imo, and the only thing that makes sense to the decline. The Gallant years he played 27 playoff games had 11 goals and 17 assists and two all star regular seasons

And before Gallant was Mika at his best. That Covid year he may have been the best Ranger we’ve ever seen. It’s nuts

I bleed right, white and blue and have enough Rangers hats to wear one a day for a month. But hard to even wear that based on what we have seen. Not completely giving up the ship, but hard not to be disappointed and disheartened.

I wasn’t a Trouba hater like most. I said he wasn’t the problem. Zib is soft, I don’t like soft players. It’s a well known fact on here, some would even say I make it TOO well known.

It’s why he got Borgen. I’m not fighting you on this but this is exactly why he got him in the trade. Give him some time to fit in. I haven’t seen all the minutes played since he got here, but I noticed a couple of times he was mean in front of the net

I don’t hate Borgen. I hate that he’s the return for Kakko. Borgen is the type of player I like, but he’s a little old (28) compared to Kakko. I also don’t think he’s very good at defense but we’ll see.

Kakko wasn’t gonna be tendered by the rangers. You have to get that through your head. Drury didn’t even draft the putz. I think he got a lot tbh if you consider that. He’s paying dearly from fans because of Gorton

Kakko sucks. He a dime a dozen player. Easily replaceable and he got two picks which you’ve complained about him trading lol
