Jones hasn’t really looked good the last few weeks. Better than ruhwedel uro Lindgren but that isn’t saying much. Just another bottom pair - nyrangers2
He hasn't but should be be the one scratched is the question? |

Stockings full of lavender for the softest team in the NHL. Feel for the fans as your team was destroyed from within.
Letting Goodrow and Trouba go basically removes 80% of Grit from your team. And you end up trading Kakko anyways. Will Cuylie is a stud.
Chris "Giza Sheets" Drury should be tried for hockey treason. |

Precisely... I just wonder if Drury feels compelled to do that if they don't get at least one W in Florida.

If it was going to be done it should’ve already happened. Not sure what it accomplishes now |

IMO, it would only embolden the players to throw temper tantrums and not want to play. NHL is a business, not about your feelings because you think your friends feelings are hurt. |

Exactly,
The season is a loss at this point. Bearing a miracle and they 2for3 the rest of the way there's no way to make the playoffs.
Let the season rise out, trade who you want and retool in the off-season hoping for a Hagens (which will never happen).
I think what people need to realize is if the team is a dumpster fire does Perault even sign with us? He's proven he can play and people screwed up skipping him in the draft. He can just wait out the 4 years and go somewhere that isn't a poop show like NY right now.
This brings me toy next question, non NYR related. With CHL players now being draft eligible, how does the rights work with those who get drafted play CHL and then play college? Are they considered a UFA after their sophomore year (4years after draft) or do the teams hold the rights for 6 years now? |

I think the Rangers are going to leave Florida without Kreider still on the roster.
My prediction is he's going to Colorado....

Goody and trouba were overpaid. Hard salary cap league can’t over pay players and win |

Perrault will have a shot in the top 6. No shot he doesn’t sign here

I bet this is why they traded Kakko. Perrault would be the infusion and spark that maybe they need. Problem is it might be too late by that time
Rangers want to get younger and move on from this core. This year is going to be a retool. I agree with Tommy that Kreider might not make the weekend
They should go after Trent Frederic, he’s a UFA in the summer. He can play center and wing, and maybe could take kakkos place for now, or Kreider.

If they trade Kreider maybe that will light the fire under Mika. Trading his buddy would be a big kick in the ass that’s for sure
Doesn’t Boston for Kreider sound like a match made in heaven?
Tommy I predict Boston, and of course I have a trade
Kreider (retainment probably ), Zac Jones and Reilly Smith (50% retained)
For Mason Lohrei and Trent Fredric
Boston may need a shakeup too, they lost to CBJ 6-2 |

Well, they’re no longer overpaid here and we suck more than we did when they were overpaid here. |

We should free Zac Jones by sending him somewhere for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. |
