Cuter Gauther would have been funnier.

It has nothing to do with the color of thier uniforms. Honestly I wish the NHL would do a uneven schedule. I don't know why West and Eastern conferences have to play every team. It would be enough that each conference plays one division every year. I'd rather see the Ducks play other Pacific teams more than have to travel east and do back to back games on the road.

If the NHL could just do an uneven schedule then you could eliminate alot of travel time and bad start times. Like those start times that east coast teams when they travel west. 10 and 11 pm starts are trash. And West coast teams starting games at 3 and 4 pm while we're still working when pacific teams travel east. Like I'm still driving home at 3pm. And think of the Ratings bump that the NHL would get if we fans could actually watch games at reasonable times. And the money saved from those lengthy flights. Not to take away from the Flyers. But I'd rather watch the Ducks play a team that I know better. Like the Kings, Sharks, Knights. But let's hope for a good game. Gauthier and Drysdale are still a couple of years from being reliable players. But I think Drysdale will turn it around. The Injuries are happening to him to often. Either he needs to skate faster or he needs to be more aware. Juniors didn't seem to help him with a physical part of his pro hockey game. But he seems to be working on it. Gauthier just needs to finish. He has less time to shoot. But he's getting chances. So he might work a shooting faster.

Only way I see him getting an extension is if he will be a stop gap 3C until Luchenko is ready.

I think one of Cates, Poehling or Laughton will be moved before next season
