Kuzmenko:

You’d think after sitting out five-straight games and eight of the last 11, of which most were as a healthy scratch to reach him on some level, mercurial Russian winger Andrei Kuzmenko would have had plenty of incentive to right so many wrongs Sunday in a 3-0 loss at Las Vegas.

He responded with no shots and one hit on 9:49 of ice time and sat the last eight minutes.

The Flames needed everybody against the Pacific Division leading Golden Knights, who have won six straight, and got nothing from the former Canuck. He has one goal in 29 games and that came on Oct. 15 with a power play deflection. He was scratched again Tuesday.

Let’s put it this way. More than 600 players have at a least one even-strength goal this season. Kuzmenko has none. The Flames must hope he can find some form to at least be a chip to possibly play at the March 7 trade deadline. Good luck with that.

6’-4” Forbort gets embarrassed by 5’-9” Lomberg.
Huberdeau scores again.
Gutless Suter tries his best soccer kick.
Flame’s bottom 3 D, Bean, Pachal, Hanley > than any Canuck D
Wolf is the real deal and a 7th round pick to boot.
Have a great 2025

Happy New Year to everyone!!

JT Miller hasn’t scored a goal in 10 games. He hasn’t scored a goal when a goalie's been in the net in 20 games (October 26th). Just sayin.

Just like the team as a whole, he needs a reset. Probably somewhere in NY state... Rangers or Sabers?

Time you move on from this core, while you can.

As VHG said in. Last thread, Boeser might be the easiest to move as he has an expiring contract with no protection, as well as Demko and Garland, who also have no protection.
Pouty has no protection yet.

Time for change.

Goes to show when your coach is as stubborn as your players.

lol the Flames:

Circling the drain since 2004 with one of the worst PO and drafting records of any club.

But hey...keep going in 2025 maybe with a little 'KY' lol the Flames can lube their way into a WC spot...

I brought up Tocchet concerns months ago and of course you are correct some of his decisions this season have been downright baffling. Especially the derailment of Hogs career which will ultimately see him traded to find success on a different team no less. When Miller and Petey were back in the lineup Tocchet didn't even have them on the PP together for a bit. If He's not careful he'll be a product of the Jack Adams curse like the last three winners lol

Rutherford and Allvin have until TDL to right this ship and you know they will try. PO's are the expectation from the season ticket holders and the fanbase so strap in and get ready for some Rutherford action....

Yes, him too.

Back when they hired Rutherford, I remember Vantel and I were concerned about his Neverending trades of picks/prospects to try improve. Can't remember who else may have had concerns, but most were just happy to see Benning gone

Rutherfords success in PIT spoke for itself really but his final few years there were pretty ugly and their fanbase was calling for his firing. My only concern with Rutherford when he was hired is he had a history of giving away massive assets when he gets obsessed with a trade or bringing a player in. He and Alvin are going to try to fix this mess that you can be sure of...just a question of what it's going to costs the franchise at this point.

Your flames chirps are cute. Especially since you’re an oilers fan. the oilers who have been circling the drain since 1990. The most disgusting franchise on the planet. The worst owner and management in pro sports. Drafted first overall all 4 times and top 5 multiple times and still suck.

I’d hope you change in 2025 to be a less pathetic human but I know the chances of that are nil.

Still with the gimmick of changing quotes? If I didn’t know better I’d say you’re 12.

And again calling people liberal, who have told you multiple times they’re very much not liberal at all. Just because I’m a conservative that has a brain and can see the far right retards (ie. you) for what they are, doesn’t make me liberal.

Happy new year Rick!

If true, last year the rejected offer for Petey was Necas, Pesce and picks....what the hell was this management team thinking by saying no. Pesce was a UFA at season's end so there was no guarantee of resigning him but atleast you could have offered the 8th year....shoulda coulda woulda
