The team currently looks like Linden/Messier days of the 90's. The chemistry isn't working. They certainly need to make some changes.

I think any blockbuster will involve Detroit, who have a couple nice young players/prospects like Edvinsson on defense and Danielson or Kasper at centre

Team was winning without Miller, but they can't seem to win without Petey...just sayin. But they are missing Quinn Hughes, who's the teams best player.

For sure, any team that loses three of it's best players is going to struggle. The decision to sit Branny is somewhat puzzling though. I get that he's a depth guy, but with Hughes out, his underlying offensive numbers have been decent on the PP.

Eastern road trip seems like a perfect time to drop Miller off at the airport and incorporate some new players into the lineup

They just need de so badly. Our forwards are fine. Goalies are fine. De is brutal. When you can't get the puck to the forwards, it's pretty tough for the forwards to score.

Think we need to try one or the other first. Team did quite well without Miller in the lineup I think that tells us something. A healthy Hughes and Pettersson is key of course but you go with the younger player IMO here. Keep Petey and move Miller as he appears to be the problem child in all of this. Sounds like NYR want's Miller pretty bad has to be a way to get a good return there.
